Rotating Equipment Engineer

The role of Rotating Equipment Engineer offers you stability and an opportunity to grow your career. You will be required to maintain safe and efficient operation of rotating equipment, provide technical QA/QC support during equipment overhauls. In addition to assisting in the preparation and maintenance of technical standards you will also review new technology to help set the strategic direction for the rotating equipment discipline.

Your engineering degree will complement your previous operations and maintenance experience with GE Frame gas turbines, Solar gas turbines, aero-derivative gas turbines (both LM & RR) and their associated control systems. You will be proficient with reciprocating/ centrifugal/screw compressors and centrifugal/positive displacement pumps as used in the oil and gas industry. Perth and Karratha Based

Play a key role in the Production Engineering Function by providing technical and engineering input and support to operational facilities to achieve safe, efficient and optimum operation. You will manage the integrity of the facility through maintenance, inspection and engineering change control.
This role will put you in the front line of providing input to, and overseeing, the reactive and preventative maintenance programs. Your focus will be on reliability and continuous improvement of existing systems and also interfacing with project groups.

As a Mechanical Engineer you will be supporting both rotating and static equipment, including piping systems. Previous experience in an engineering support role in large engineering or oil and gas sectors will be viewed favourably.
