Water Engineering Australia magazine is the ideal advertising medium to reach professional engineers, who have declared their interest area as water and who are members of Engineers Australia (The Institution of Engineers Australia), Australia’s peak professional association for engineers.

These engineers work in the areas of dams/reservoirs, drainage, hydrology, sewage treatment, wastewater, water resources, water supply, pipelines, pumps and water quantity.

The circulation of Water Engineering Australia is 7,600 (CAB circulation, April to October 2008).

Water Engineering Australia’s cost to reach 1000 readers is $276.32.

A 10% discount applies for group buys between WEA, and the Civil and General editions of Engineers Australia magazine.

WEA has an accompanying web site – www.waterengineeringaustralia.com.au – on which WEA advertisers are entitled to a no-charge banner ad for one month.

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ADVERTISING CONTRACTS - top^

  1. Space must be used within 12 months from the date of commencement of contract or a surcharge may be imposed by adjustment of the rates to the space actually used.
  2. No advertisement is accepted on the basis that there will be editorial mention of the advertiser’s products or services.
  3. Advertisers may only discontinue or cancel schedule, contract or verbal order with the publisher’s consent in writing. Such cancellations can only be effected up to three weeks prior to the cover date of the magazine, and may be liable to any surcharge that may be applicable.
  4. The publisher reserves the right to vary advertising rates from time to time, following one month notice to the advertiser or its advertising agency.
  5. All advertising material must be supplied to the publisher by the copy closing date. Failure to do so will give the publisher the right to insert the advertiser’s previous advertisement, or charge the advertiser or its agency for the space booked.
  6. The publisher shall not be liable for any loss or damage to materials not claimed within two months of publication.
  7. All advertising content is subject to the approval of the publisher, who reserves the right to reject any advertising material.
  8. An advertisement having the appearance of editorial matter shall have the word “ADVERTISEMENT” set above it in a type size no smaller then 6pt caps.
  9. The advertiser and its advertising agency shall ensure that advertising content does not infringe any Federal or State laws.
  10. Where advertising material is not supplied to the publisher’s standards, the publisher reserves the right to perform any additional work required, at competitive rates.
  11. Normal trading terms are 30 days net.
  12. Advertising rates stated, for all of Engineers Media’s publications, do not include GST. Other than for applicable overseas transactions, GST (10%) should be added to the advertising rate.
