READER PROFILE Readers of the Civil Edition of Engineers Australia magazine are professional civil and structural engineers, all of whom are members of Engineers Australia, Australia's peak professional association for engineers. 28% are employed in private industry, 36% in consulting, and 25% in government areas. Management (34%) and engineering design (31%) are the two standout work areas of civil and structural engineers. 78% attend continuing education events, and 83% purchase products and 78% purchase services. 98% read any issue of Civil Engineers Australia, 45% read all 12 issues while 72% read between 8-12 issues.
